Certificate in International Risk Analysis

The International Risk Analysis Certificate provides a foundational and interdisciplinary framework for understanding economic, political, and environmental risks across the globe. The goal of the certificate is to provide professionally-relevant coursework about understanding risks that arise from global, regional, and local sociopolitical and environmental conditions that can affect business development and human security.

The IRA certificate (14-19 Units) requires foundational courses in International Relations and International Business as well as a career readiness course. The elective courses in the Certificate list provide broad perspectives on international risk assessment as well as regional courses that enhance students’ understanding of ability to research and analyze local conditions. Electives address global risk factors, risk analysis, and mitigation.
