To be admitted, students need to be Economics Majors or have completed the equivalent of ACCT 100, ACCT 101, ECON 101, ECON 102, and DS 212 or MATH 124, all with grades of C- or better.
Program Learning Outcomes
- Students will have a high-level understanding of fintech and how technology revolutionizes the financial industry.
- Students will learn about the basics of Bitcoin, smart contract platforms, and decentralized finance.
- Students will learn soft communication skills by interviewing a financial professional.
- Students will demonstrate effective communication and analytic skills for research reports.

All courses for the certificate must be completed with a minimum GPA of 2.0.
